What this page covers

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites also use similar browser storage. This page explains what mydrive.direct and the MyDrive app store in your browser and why. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

What we use

Strictly necessary. These keep the site working and secure, so they cannot be switched off:

• Sign-in session cookies that keep you signed in to the MyDrive app.
• A device identifier that helps keep your account secure.

Functional. These remember choices you make:

• Your light or dark theme preference.
• Whether you have dismissed the prompt to install the MyDrive app.
• Progress on a quotation you have started, so you do not lose your answers.
• The broker link, QR code or dealership you arrived through, so your quotation reaches the right broker.

Third-party services. Our address lookup uses Google Maps Platform. When you type an address, Google receives what you type and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy terms.

Analytics. We do not use analytics cookies.

Advertising. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. If we add them in future, we will ask for your consent first, as section 69 of POPIA requires.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or request a quotation.
